Mr Graham Davie

Vice Chairman

Weald Parish Council

The Members of Weald Parish Council are shocked and saddened by the sudden and unexpected death of Graham Davie on Thursday 7th May, 2015, the date on which Graham retired as a member of the Parish Council after 15 years’ loyal service to the Parish Council, to the community and the village he loved and cared for.

Graham was a dedicated and hard working member of the Parish Council who was committed to promoting and protecting the interests of the residents within the Parish and to ensuring the best features of the village be protected for the enjoyment of future generations.

He will be greatly missed by his colleagues on the Parish Council who benefited greatly from his wisdom and experience.

The Parish Council send their heartfelt condolences to Graham’s family and friends.

Weald Girl Guides

Girl Guides needs your support!

I am trying to set up a Girl Guide unit in the village and am looking for support in running this group.

You don't need to have previous experience - just be up for a challenge and some great fun!  You don't need to be available every week - a team rota is feasible - so any time you can offer would really be appreciated.

lf you just want to have a chat to find out more, or would like to get involved with the new Girl Guide group, please do get in touch with me, Sarah Sladden, 07917 192555; sarah.j.sladden @

The new Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), located behind Weald Primary School on Wickhurst Lane, is now open and available for hire for a variety of different sports.
